David Gill is a multi-faceted creative with over fifteen years of experience developing brands and collateral for some of Australia’s most respected brands from corporate, government, fashion and the arts sectors.
Following the completion of his Honours in Graphic Design at RMIT University (1998), David co-founded the successful Melbourne brand studio Aer Design. After years of success, David left Aer Design in 2006 to found a studio with a greater focus on conceptual strategy. The result: Qualia Creative.
David’s strength are in conceptual and strategic thinking, brand identity and management, website design, publication, and image making. What sets David apart from other creatives is a unique, lateral-thinking disposition that provides him with the ability to perceive the world beyond established convention to derive new strategic possibilities from this insight.
David is also an avid practitioner of the arts from oil painting to goju-ryu karate when he finds time between work and running after a toddler.
Dave founded, developed and dismantled creative collective Studio Anybody. Now working with Qualia Creative, Dave focuses on the craft of image-making with an emphasis on fashion and arts with a tight focus on conceptually developed client collaborations.
Brett Hamm specialises in brand voicing and social media strategy. His career began working communications for a federal MP. In 2009, he took his talents to the private sector, managing the messages of corporate, government and community clients as senior copywriter and social media consultant at Qualia Creative.
In 2011 Brett established copy, content and strategy firm Copy Transmission with David J Ling, PhD where they continue to write and consult on branding and social media for some of Australia’s most recognisable brands and organisations.
As a social media pundit, Brett has published a dozen social media campaign case studies and two social media white papers for leading Australian social media training business, Social Media Knowledge (SMK).
A keen social trend-watcher, Brett’s social commentary and criticism is also frequently published by Broadsheet, mX, and the Herald Sun.
Qualia Creative also employs and consults with a variety of designers and creatives to pursue the most imaginative, engaging and communicative graphic designs.
