Tequila Tromba
Branding, label design and collateral

This identity was created for a new premium brand called Tequila Tromba. The Spanish word "tromba" translate as "downpour, cloudburst" and it is the seasonal rain that nourishes the agave plant from which tequila is made. The weather event is represented by the cloud marque, which is supported by a beautifully cut typeface called Lagarto which was sourced from the Kimera Type Foundary in Mexico City.

Tequila has for some time in Australia been seen as the "drunk uncle" of spirit varieties. With the recent launch of a new premium tequila brand called Tequila Tromba: times, they are a-changing.
